Aleipata is a rural district on the island of Upolu, Samoa in the South Pacific. It takes almost 2 hours to travel by bus to the capital city of Apia.
12 talented young netball stars are representing Aleipata at the new "Netball Samoa Development Academy (NSDA)" held in Apia. There is a lack of sporting opportunities available for young girls in rural areas so travelling to Apia is the only option.
The travel costs to and from Apia add up and many of our girls and their families don't always have the available funds to cover the travel to Apia every weekend on the buses.
If you're wanting to help the girls with fundraising, then we are kindly asking all our family, friends, associates and businesses, local and "OVERSEAS" for monetary donations.
All donations will go towards the cost of travel on the bus. Long-term goals will be to fundraise enough money for a van to transport the girls.
Please help pave the way for these young girls from Aleipata and lighten their load. Please make a difference in their lives and help them become the best in the sport they really love, Netball. It would mean so much to the girls!
